We are looking for Precision Machinist candidates. Make sure you must add Precision Machining experience in your resume before you apply to this job. We prefer experience from Medical device, dental, orthopedic, Biological, Military related clients/industry experience preferred

Purpose:

To operate, set-up and edit programs on CNC / Swiss Machines to support medical device manufacturing.

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:

Analyzes drawings, sketches, and design data of part to evaluate dimension and configuration of cuts, selection of cutting tools, and machine speeds and feed rates
Select tools and edit efficient programs for CNC machines to maximize utilization and minimize downtime of the equipment.
Edit programs to produce prototype parts for Research and development for Medical
Responsible for continuously monitoring equipment and tooling. In the event of a breakdown or other event that would disrupt the process, the Department Lead will be notified to resolve the problem.
Follow the instructions on the Process sheet, Drawings and/or Programs.
Teach team members all aspects of machining.
Helps others trouble shoot their work
Interface/communicate with Quality, Engineering and other team members as needed.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Responsible for assuring that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Seabrook Quality System procedures.

Education and
Experience:

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 5 years related experience

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to set up and prove out new work, edit programs, and build fixtures
Ability to coach, train and communicate with department personnel
Ability to read and interpret blue prints
Experience in a job shop environment machining metals.
Comprehensive understanding of speed and feed for material, such as stainless steel, aluminum and high temperature alloys .
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
